We believe that anyone who wants to work can work, no matter their background, situation, or disability.

We’ll help you find and keep a job, which can be a stepping stone to where you want to be. We’re always out in the community doing direct outreach with organizations and employers aligned with our mission, supporting you in finding an employer that is the right fit. We’ll also support your ongoing success, teaching you new skills to help you grow.


How we help you get a job


You can come to us at any point in your journey. We have supported people with no formal experience, who haven’t worked in years, or are preparing for reentry. Our expert Employment Specialists will work closely with you to identify your job interests, strengths, and goals. Then they’ll provide customized job search assistance based on your specific situation and preferences, such as the number of hours you want to work or a location that suits you.

Supported Employment
Through Alaska’s DVR

Happy Store Manager

If you have struggled with getting or keeping a job because of a mental or physical disability and need assistance, you may qualify for Frontier’s Supported Employment Services.

With a referral from the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR), we will help you prepare for and find a job that is the right fit for you.

Employment Through Behavioral Wellness

We offer employment services following Alaska’s Individual Placement and Support (IPS) model, which emphasizes rapid job placement and ongoing support for individuals with mental health challenges.

 

  1. Start with an assessment and a treatment plan

  2. Find a job or create an education plan while getting access to essential resources

  3. Receive continuous support to stay employed and work toward your goals
