Assistance is Available to Help You Get a Job
If you are interested in going to work, you are eligible for Individual Placement and Support (IPS) services. Even if you haven't worked in years, an Employment Specialist can help - it's never too late! Our Employment Specialists help find the right job for each individual to gain meaningful and satisfying employment in the community.
Someone can contact your employers
Employment Specialists have lots of knowledge about jobs in the community. If you wish, an Employment Specialist can advocate on your behalf to employers. If, however, you don't want employers to know that you are receiving support, we can accommodate that as well.
Employment Specialists can help you change jobs
Your Employment Specialist will work with you even after you find a job to make sure that you are satisfied. If a job doesn't work out for any reason, your counselor will help you find another job. Further, Employment Specialists can help you find another job or develop a career plan.
You choose the type of work that interests you
An Employment Specialist will help you look for jobs based on your interests, such as the number of hours you want to work, a location that suits you, or other preferences you may have. |
